Can I be real here for a second?
I love, love love blogging. Especially fashion blogging. But sometimes, fashion blogging drives you to make pretty irrational decisions while shopping.
Case in point: I just looked at how many off the shoulder tops/dresses I own and y’all…I’m embarrassed. I had to write out a ton of posts ahead of time since I have a busy week coming up, and this silhouette is everywhere. Like in my next couple weeks of posts. My bad! And to think, last summer I only purchased two off the shoulder items because I wasn’t sure how long the trend would last.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love the trend a ton. I also managed to score this top from Anthro on sale, and it was too pretty to pass up! The beading on this top is exquisite, and it definitely turns heads anywhere I go! This top paired with my demi boot jeans makes for a great outfit idea for a casual date night or a night out with friends. However, I’m going to make a conscious effort to dial it back a bit and try new things for the rest of the summer. I’m hoping to scoop up more jumpsuits and two piece sets just to switch things up in the fashion department!
